Abstract
Apparel industries need design management, so does the apparel design. The paper focuses on the need of introducing design management (DM) into apparel industries. It analyzes the modules of design task and system in design management, proposes the models of style and product positioning, organizes the design process, and provides methods on how to implement design management into apparel industries.
