Abstract
In this paper new closed-forms are derived and presented to compute the three-dimensional magnetostatic field in iron-free media due to thin ring conductors with currents in the azimuthal and radial directions. All obtained results in closed-form enable one to easily calculate the magnetic field either in regular or singular cases. They can be usefully employed to calculate the magnetic fields in more complicated geometries and may be used to evaluate the self- and mutual-inductance coefficients in systems with thin and massive conductors
