Abstract :
An 86 Gb/s/ch WDM transmission experiment is successfully demonstrated by using CSRZ-DQPSK format and extended L-band erbium-doped fiber amplifiers. 4.4 Tb/s capacity is achieved in just a single amplifier gain bandwidth without using polarization-multiplexing/interleaveing techniques.
