Abstract
Recent progress in wavefront autocorrelation of ultrashort pulses is reported. The Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor concept is extended to spatially resolved autocorrelation. Specific advantages and limitations of system design, dynamic range, and optical components are discussed.
