Abstract :
A novel wireless transmission method was proposed in this paper. The new method combined non-orthogonal perfect space-time block codes (NPSTBC) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) together. Compared with orthogonal space-time block codes, the NPSTBC based cyclic division algebras can achieve full-diversity transmission. The low-complexity sphere decoder is used to realize the decoding of NPSTBC. The results show that the performance of NPSTBC-OFDM system is better than that of orthogonal space-time block coded OFDM system and linear-dispersion space-time coded OFDM system under identical spectrum utilization.
