Abstract
The author examines O&S (operating and support) costing from an uncertainty perspective. The role of a cost uncertainty analysis in an O&S cost estimate is explained, and it is shown how it can be carried out. Emphasis is placed on making estimates of MFHBF (mean flight hours between failure) uncertainty by engineering experts rather than the actual computations
