Abstract :
We demonstrate a high 27.5 dB system budget for a 10G-PON working within existing extended Giga-PON links, with newly designed 10.3-Gbit/s optical interfaces and G.975 FEC. The high link budget can support over 32x 10G ONUs across a 20 km SMF span.
