Abstract :
We demonstrate an 85Gb/s XOR gate using dual ultrafast nonlinear interferometer elements based on cross-phase modulation in semiconductor optical amplifiers. The operating speed of the logic gate was enhanced by incorporating the turbo-switch configuration.
