Abstract
In this paper, the signal and noise bandwidth expressions for microbolometric focal plane array are theoretically given out. By reviewing the basic working principle of micro bolometer, we have obtained the theoretical signal and noise bandwidth expressions for different links in a universal infrared responding signal process channel. Based on the analysis of infrared responding signal and different noise sources frequency characteristics, the final signal and different noise sources bandwidths are pointed out. The final signal and noise bandwidth expressions can be utilized to guide the performance improvement of microbolometric focal plane array.
