  • Abstract
This paper presents optimization of setting arrays considering the influence of front array´s shadow. The total power per year and the total power per year per array are used as optimum conditions. The following parameters are used for setting arrays, tilt angle θ, distance to front arrays d. By way of example Tokyo (Long. 139.77 [deg.] E, Lat. 35.68 [deg.] N) is selected as a simulating point, and the following is confirmed: the relationship between θ and d for the maximum total power per year on array field to have a constant area is shown. For example, modules are laid closely on an array field, i.e. θ=0° and d=0, and the maximum total power per year is obtained in Tokyo. The relationship between θ and d for the total power per year per array is shown
