Abstract :
The importance of a-Si solar cell module design in optimum DC load matching has been studied. In this context, a directly coupled water pump with the power source of a-Si solar cells has been analysed. The comparative matching performances of pumps have been made under two differnt sources of a-Si and x-Si solar cells. The a-Si solar modules powered pumping system has been found as a suitable system
