Abstract
The results of microwave remote sensing of the atmosphere during the climate experiment Zvenigorod-94 conducted by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Russ. Acad. Sci. are presented. Two ground-based K- and Ka-band radiometers were successfully operated in May-June 1994 in Zvenigorod (Moscow region). The dual-frequency K-band radiometer allowed to obtain directly water vapor content under cloud conditions. The data of water vapor content measurements derived from different retrieval techniques are compared. The data from radiosonde observations were also available. The influence of various cloud types on the accuracy of water vapor retrieval is investigated
