Abstract :
The application of computer technology in digitalization protection and exhibition of cultural relics has made much achievement; however, most of the related researches focus on such technology stage as digital repairing, restituting, and exhibiting. Taking the Lacquer chest of the Tomb of Macaques Yi of the Zeng State as an example, researches have been done on the thoughts and methods of conforming animation and game technology in deep digitalization protection and exhibition of relics. 3D modeling technology has been put into practice in the reconstruction and restitution of the lacquer chests and the astronomic paintings described on the chests; image processing, 3D and 2D animation and game developing technology have been taken into account in the creation of digital content stage, thoroughly exhibiting the lacquer chests and the living scenes and cultural integrants described on them, bringing to a new stage the exhibition of relics and protection of culture.
