Abstract :
Recently portable photopolarimeters named ABE2713 and FPR1000, which are designed for the ground version of the ADEOS/POLDER sensor, have been completed. The authors understand that aerosol models will be much more precisely determined if polarization measurements as well as radiance data are available. This paper introduces new instruments mentioned above and their measurements of polarization degree of the atmospheric aerosols. They found the polarization degree decreases with the wavelength within the range [0.550, 0.800] μm
