Abstract
Experimental results on ultrafast all-optical wavelength conversion in Silicon-on-Insulator waveguides are presented. Red and blue shifts of 10nm have been observed in femtosecond pump-probe experiments. All-optical switching and the importance of waveguide dispersion are discussed.
