Abstract :
Device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying cellular network has recently been proposed as a featured technique for future LTE systems. In this paper, we consider the scenario that D2D users can share the resources with multiple cellular users and investigate the joint reuse partner selection and power allocation strategy to maximize the overall system throughput. A heuristic suboptimal algorithm is developed, which is based on the reuse partner selection criterion obtained by utilizing the Lagrange relaxation method. Numerical results show that the system throughput will be improved dramatically by enabling D2D users to share resources with multiple cellular users.
