Abstract :
We propose a novel principle of optoelectronic time-division demultiplexing and clock extraction for OTDM receivers. High performance of the 160-Gbit/s OTDM receiver is demonstrated by using commercially available 40-GHz LiNbO3 phase modulators and optical filters.
