Abstract :
About 3 W continuous-wave power at 542 nm with 34% conversion efficiency is obtained at room temperature by single-pass frequency doubling of a Yb-doped fiber laser through a 1-mm-thick, 25-mm-long periodically polled MgO:LiNbO3.
