Abstract :
This paper describes the application of Ensemble Signal Averaging (ESA) to the problem of motion artifact reduction in the oscillometric non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) signal. The algorithm described addresses the problems of preserving the cuff pressure (CP) vs. pulse size envelope shape, dealing with the case of a long pulse delay, using limited CPU resources, and optimizing the determination cycle time
