Abstract
This paper designs a proportional control system for EMG(electromyography) prosthetic hand. The signal energy of SEMG(surface electromyography) is used for the feature value, and five motion patterns of hand are identified by using the pattern classification of binary tree. Moreover, using multi-channel signals energy of SEMG weighted to obtain proportional control coefficient which could drive DC motors by PWM to realize proportional velocity control. The experimental results indicate that the proportional control coefficient can effectively control velocity.
