Abstract :
With the development of network scale and the limit of research costs, more and more researchers turn from physical experiment test to simulation in the field of network reliability test. However, the credibility of simulation is not recognized by all researchers. Thus, a new network reliability test method is put forward and implemented in this paper. A system-in-the-loop network platform is achieved to study network reliability based on SITL (system-in-the-loop) which is a module of OPNET Modeler 14.5 software. As delay is an important parameter in network reliability study, network reliability of simulated, physical and system-in-the-loop network are analyzed based on delays. Furthermore, the system-in-the-loop network platform is proved credible compared with the physical network based on delays. This paper proposed and implemented a new network reliability test method and provided support and reference for the further research on network reliability of system-in-the-loop network platform.
