Abstract :
Based on the useful tasseled-cap transform of Landsat TM data, a similar transform is developed for JERS-1 OPS data. Use is made of OPS and TM spectral-band similarities and same-day acquisitions of OPS and TM data. Regression analyses yield equations that estimate TM tasseled-cap variables as a function of OPS data values. The results show a good correspondence between variables computed from OPS and TM data. Coefficients of similar spectral bands have similar weightings
