Abstract :
Using only one dual-drive MZM, 20Gbps (2-bit/symbol) DPSK over inverse-RZ is presented and demonstrated experimentally. The proposed scheme can simultaneously generate 10Gbps DPSK and inverse-RZ signals with equal sensitivities.
