Abstract :
Rich Media (RM) is a new media concept, which is different from the transitional media such as video, audio etc. Embedded rich media services provide a fresh and interactive user experience. A rich media service contains several scenes, which specifies the layout of the elements. Depending on the concrete service, the representation can include various kinds of element streams. The organization, transporting and synchronization at the client-side of them are widely considered issues. This paper introduces a solution which includes a new rich media scene format based on SVG Tiny 1.2, the storage of scenes interleaved with traditional media content, and a streaming mechanism using RTP protocol.
