Abstract :
A topology-based method used to determine a new upper bound on the number of DC solutions of networks containing BJTs is presented. The method to obtain this new upper bound is based on topological conditions of the dead graph of the network, and it is applied to networks containing BJTs, positive linear resistors, and independent voltage and current sources
