An empirical study on the affect electronic money has on money multiplier—Analysis based on Chinese data from 1990–2009

From the theoretical point of view, and based on the theoretical analysis, this paper analyses the affect that the development of electronic money has on the money multiplier. It makes use of the relevant data from 1990 to 2009, selects the relevant variables, build econometric models and prove the correlation between electronic money and money multiplier empirically.
