  • Abstract
The paper is devoted to producing and studying magnetic properties of rapidly quenched neodymium-iron-boron based alloys (RQA). Extreme dependence of coercive force upon quenching ratio and alloy chemical composition (neodymium and boron content) is shown. Particles produced by quenching are shown to be X-ray amorphous and isotropic. By means of thermal influence it is possible to improve the magnetic characteristics of RQA and powders on their basis. The optimal annealing temperature is 600...800°C. Composite magnets, produced from the above RQA have the following properties: Br=0,53 T, iHc=1100 kA/m
