Abstract
When rectifier is installed in power system, harmonic current is injected into power system. Common filtering solution is passive filter. The design requires determining the harmonic current generated by rectifier. So analysis and calculation of harmonic current of rectifier is need before design passive filters. This paper presents a quantitative analysis of the operating characteristics of bridge rectifiers with constant-voltage considering transient and steady state and give the formula of ac side current. Then use Fourier series to depart harmonics current.
