Abstract :
This paper presents a magnetic circuit model of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM). Considering slotting of stator/rotor and effect of stator yoke and rotor yoke, the improved magnetic circuit model has been established. It details the calculation of the flux leakage and the quiescent operating point to prove the rationality of the motor design, and the Finite Element Analysis has been used to prove the accuracy of the method.
