  • Abstract
    This paper presents an interpolation method based on adaptive directional lifting wavelet construction. This approach can not only adaptively choose the best direction as lifting direction instead of horizontal and vertical direction, but also use the Lagrange´s interpolation to predict pixels according to the local characteristics between pixels. Experimental result shows that the proposed method has advantages over the traditional lifting wavelet.
