Abstract :
Numerical simulation and experiment are two important methods of investigating air plasma. In this paper, the numerical simulation and experimental study of air plasma generated in different pressures have been performed. One-dimensional model is built to study chemical process of air plasma filament in different pressure. The spatial and temporal evolutions of electron were obtained. Meanwhile, the picture and light emissions of single filament pattern generated in different pressures in dielectric barrier discharge were recorded. There are similar temporal evolutions in both ways, qualitatively. In range of 1.0atm to 0.3atm, it would be much easier to obtain steady discharge patterns in lower pressures.
