Abstract :
The author discusses some major lessons learned about implementing quality management systems. The solutions offered are based on the author´s work with over 350 business organizations in North America during the last decade. He notes that if business organizations are to be world competitive and effectively utilize the technologies of modern quality, a system for continuous improvement must be operable. He emphasizes that it is the responsibility of management to effect such a system
