  • Abstract
    In this paper, we present a new algorithm as to how to select the initial search point and search window range in the inter-frame prediction based on the correlation of time-domain and airspace. Through the new algorithm for the initial point search, we obtain the improvement of the accuracy of the initial point search, and then we will find the best matching image block faster in the coming whole pixel search. The improved selection algorithm of the search window range can not only reduce computation, but also improve the accuracy of the motion estimation.
