Abstract :
An autoregressive moving average model (ARMA) used to represent vergence eye movements in which the two eyes move in opposition to track targets varying in distance is discussed. The poles of the parametric models obtained from both left and right eye movements were used to analyze asymmetries associated with binocular and monocular control processes. Results suggest that a major portion of the neural control of vergence eye movements is independent and unique for each eye
