Abstract
Peer-to-peer video streaming service is more and more important in today´s Internet. As large-scale Internet applications, it can obviously benefit from link state prediction for neighbor selection without having to contact other node first. So in this paper, we present a novel digest based link state prediction mechanism and design corresponding neighbor selection system for P2P streaming basing on our prediction mechanism. We also testify the system performance by simulation experiment and present the result at the end of this paper.
