Abstract
This paper presents a chip intended for learning in fuzzy logic-based controllers. It uses the weight perturbation method to tune the parameters of the controller. This circuit can be used as a co-processor of any fuzzy logic-based controller whose internal parameters (e.g, output singletons and input membership function parameters) are externally accessible. The chip has been designed using a commercial 1.0 μm CMOS technology
