Abstract :
Some methods for the implementation of mathematical models of power devices for circuit simulation in the PSpice program are presented. For this purpose, an option available in PSpice, called analog behavioral modeling, is used. In this way, mathematical models for any kind of application may be converted into electrical circuits, solved as subcircuit-models with the circuit simulator PSpice and further graphically evaluated with the postprocessor Probe. The developed procedures are demonstrated with the implementation of a physics-based IGBT model
