Abstract
We analyse a simple model of a spacecraft power system comprising a solar array, a filter and a model of a buck converter, by studying a set of third-order nonlinear differential equations. The analysis is based on nonlinear-dynamics concepts, which reveal bifurcation, hysteresis and chaos, and is supported by simulation results
