  • Abstract
Taking from the agglomeration theory and reality of labor force in the industrial sector, this paper makes two concentration indexes- the raw geographic concentration index and the location quotient index - in urban and rural ownership departments, to analyze the trend of urban and rural ownership departments´ ability to absorb labor force elements. The results of measurement verifies that the transformation in pattern of ownership with fast development of non-public-owned economies as its main feature is the origin of labor force flowing in large-scale between urban and rural areas, and among regional industries since the reform and opening up.
