Abstract :
There are two main problems with a visual simulation system, one is the complicated simulation scenarios and models, and the other is slow rendering speed. In order to simplify the models and improve rendering speed, we propose some methods to generate vivid 3D models on the premise of ensuring authentic representation and realtime display. The methods in this paper focus on model simplification and model segmentation. Based on the methods, we summarize the general steps for water environment simulation system modeling. The methods proposed are successfully verified and applied to the city water environment simulation system.
