Abstract :
Multi-core fiber is one of powerful candidate for huge capacity optical link which can be adopted for LANPHY of terabit Ethernet. We characterized inter-core crosstalk depending on bending diameter for 7-core fibers, experimentally and numerically. Heterogeneous layout could suppress crosstalk at larger bending diameter, effectively.
