  • Abstract
    This paper introduces the fundamental principle of Double-Variable Control Theory (TVCT), puts forward the non-circumfluence control method (NCCM) of the phase-controlled variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) converter, and develops a quantization algorithm of the angle α and The pulse width b. Using the TVCT, the NCCM and the quantization algorithm, the converter doesn´t need a device for zero-crossing detection. Due to the inherent complexity along with high accuracy and good real time requirements of AC-AC VVVF system, one kind of frequency variable speed regulating control system based on microprocessor and CPLD is designed. The system based on the quantization algorithm is implemented. Finally, the corresponding Experiment results of the system are supplied to verify the validity of the suggested scheme.
