  • Abstract
    This paper presents the principle of optical power measuring system, hardware structure, software architecture, the PC program. The system can achieve the functions of high-speed and automated data acquisition, data storage, real-time waveform display, and has the intelligent capabilities. This paper also put forward an effective method of data processing and verifies the correctness, compared with the data collected by the existing hand-held power meter model APM830 .This system has been applied in Lab to study the properties of the fiber.
