Abstract
A low cost design of PC/104 processor module is presented. In this design, Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) is applied to implement PC/104 bus interface and the embedded Linux operating system is constructed. The proposed processor module design based on ARM and Linux embedded system has the features such as high performance-cost ratio, low power consumption and small space. The practical results show that the system runs steadily and reliably in industry fields.
