Abstract :
A different definition on the amplitude and phase of transform function is proposed to maximize slow-light pulse delay to a constraint on the allowable pulse distortion and even provide a more simple method of numerical calculation for kinds of structures. In addition, extremely simple formulas describing multi gain structures generally are deduced on amplitude deviation, phase deviation, and time-delay. Moreover, relations of time-delay on gain ratio, separation of multi gains are figured out under distortion management.
