The Chinese folk toy as one kind of ancient folk art form takes the intangible cultural heritage of China. Recorded like the living fossils in the era of the Chinese art of living and the geographical history, with the value of social and artistic which many of the ??main trend,?? ??big tradition?? the arts do not have, cultivate humanity´s temperament. The thesis is based on the folk toy unique modeling characteristic and the color principle, applying on comparison and interpretation folk art as well as modern design art by comparison and interpretation from the point to surface, and carrying out new thinking about development of art and design. This aims to identify the plain implication of the creative principle, and tried to have the influence on modern design. Reviews and approves to the traditional folk toys´ value, both to save the intangible cultural heritage of China, simultaneously the intangible cultural heritage also to help modern human civilization walking away from the slough of spiritual values and materialistic enrichment.
