Abstract
Recently, a lot of hybrid methods, which combine case-based reasoning (CBR) with a genetic algorithm GA, have been suggested in product designing. However, the suggested methods perform poorly in case of creative designing. In this paper, a novel simultaneous optimization method is proposed, which combine CBR and GA with an algorithm process for simulation of directed similarity association according to human being´s thought models. Experimental results show that the new hybrid model outperforms other conventional approaches to creative design.
