  • Abstract
    Deployment of multimedia content has increased the necessity of copyright protection by means of watermarking. Imperceptibility and robustness are two major features of the watermarking algorithms. Different methods tried to satisfy the tradeoff between these characteristics. Recently watermarking methods in wavelet and Discrete Cosine Transform domains have displayed favorable results. In this paper we present a new method for embedding and extracting watermarks in wavelet and Discrete Cosine Transform domains. We used block based redundant embedding and voting is used in the extraction phase. Experimental results show the efficiency of the proposed method and better results are obtained as compared to comparable methods with same size of watermark logo.
