Abstract :
Tests were performed on a metro DWDM network carrying live traffic and incorporating ROADMs with 5×5 and 5×1 wavelength selective switches. OSNR penalties were measured for 10Gb/s wavelengths transmitted through up to 6 ROADM nodes.
