Study on China´s natural gas industry development strategy under the framework of international energy security cooperation-Taking natural gas industry in Sichuan Province as an example

With the establishment and development of global energy markets, traditional energy security thoughts controlling the energy supplies to ensure energy security has changed and energy security research has been gradually shifted to the pricing or to the establishment of cooperation mechanisms. At present, China´s international energy cooperation is still in its infancy and expansion period though the scope of cooperation is extensive and there is still a long way to deepen multilateral cooperation, especially under the framework of international energy security cooperation. By analyzing the current situation of China´s participation in international energy cooperation and based on the empirical study of Sichuan natural gas industry, this paper concludes that the natural gas energy development strategy in China should be international quality resources oriented by optimizing and adjusting its energy structure and promoting the production and consumptions under the framework of international energy security cooperation.
